A delicious meal, and the service is even better. I have dietary restrictions that make it hard to eat at an Indian restaurant. They catered to my restrictions, and we had a delicious meal. A must-visit for Whitechapel

We eat from this restaurant everytime we come to London. As well as the food being extrmely delicious, the staff are absolutely lovely, really friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it

Visited London from Houston and had dinner here as it was closer to our hotel. Good food and very nice, cozy atmosphere. Usman was very friendly and guided us through the menu very well as my partner could not eat too spicy. Dhaka chicken was very good, as well as the BBQ plateer.

Everything was superb at this place starting from the service to the food and the environment. The curries were absolutely delicious and well portioned, exactly what was needed for a cold night; and the staff pre-empted everything we wanted/needed throughout our meal. We would definitely come back again!

Best curry in the area hands down. Proper depth of flavour in a pretty authentic Balti king prawn. Like properly rich and thick and luscious and brilliant. Bustling and friendly service in a small space (don’t take your cat) full of Christmas cheer. Heartily recommended.

Passed this restaurant on last visit to London and chatted briefly with the owner who was preparing menu outside (but we had already just eaten). From that moment his passion and good nature was evident so we decided to try it on our next visit. The food, atmosphere and same owners passion and attention didn't disappoint. Well worth a visit. I had the Shepard's Pie. Amazing

Stopped in while visiting London from America. We wanted to get some curry while we were here because we had heard it's done really well in the UK. We were not disappointed. The Empress is a small but excellent place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. We enjoyed everything we had. We would certainly return!
